I bought a lot of things.?

在《麦克米伦高阶英汉双解词典》中,stock up的意思为:to fill a place with things that you will need,即用你需要的物品把一个地方填满,就是我们所说的囤货啦~

Weve stocked up with food in case we get snowed in.

02 stockpile(大量)储备物资

动词stockpile在《麦克米伦高阶英汉双解词典》中的意思是(大量)储备物资,释义为:to collect large amounts of things that may be needed,这不就是大量囤货嘛!

They are stockpiling food for the winter.

03 hoard

动词hoard在《麦克米伦高阶英汉双解词典》中的意思为:to get and keep a large amount of something because it might be valuable or useful later,翻译过来就是储藏;囤积。

People panicked and started hoarding food.

1、Dont store fruits together.

Many fruits, such as bananas, avocados and peaches, produce ethylene gas, which acts like a ripening hormone and can speed up the ripening process of other produce.

2、Store correctly.

Avocados, tomatoes, mangoes, melons, apples and pears will continue to ripen if left out on a countertop, whereas fruits such as grapes, citrus and berries will only deteriorate and should be refrigerated.

3、Avoid cutting.

Once youve cut fruit and vegetables, they rapidly soften and can go bad even in a cold fridge.
